Gunman's Proof
Gunple? I think not. Thanks to Shih Tzu, what should have been obvious has been made clear. "Ganpuru" is the Japanese abbreviation of Gunman's Proof (which is clearly spelled out on the title screen). Oh the hours I spent trying to figure out what "Ganpuru" meant. I first ran across the rom under the name Gunple. Then I thought it was Gun Pull, then Gun Play, and then back to Gunple. Well its cleared up now, Gunman's Proof it is. Now onto some useful information...
Briefly the game has near identical gameplay to Zelda. However replacing Link's familiar hack and slash action is an arensal of guns. The game takes place on Earth in 1880 in America's wild frontier, the old west. Having completed the game I've been able to see pretty much everything the game has to offer. A comprehensive review is forthcoming. If I decide to replay the game I will create a walkthrough.
